Starting school for the very first time, or changing schools is an important milestone for both you and your child. Here at Rustington Community Primary we believe that this should also be a time of great excitement and opportunity.
Because of this, we are firmly committed to ensuring that it is an experience that is as positive as possible; by working together we can and will make this transition smooth and enjoyable. This smooth transition begins from your very first encounter with us and we strive to maintain this through all areas of provision. |

This year we are offering:
- Taster sessions in September (an hour on a Saturday for your child to experience Early Years with you)
- Open Morning presentations in September, October and November - meet the Headteacher, learn more about the school and tour Early Years

How to apply for a place
West Sussex have released guidance on applying for a school place for those eligible to start school in September 2025. The application window opens on 7th October and closes on 15th January 2025. See the links below for further information.
